The 803 is a 2.5 mil medium tack blue LDPE surface protection film designed to protect surfaces against abrasion and dust during storage and transportation of various materials. It provides protection for bright annealed stainless steel, brushed stainless steel, anodized aluminum, as well as matte or gloss plastic substrates. It is effective in shielding surfaces during mechanical processing. 803 is typically used for stainless steel (BA and a range of grit and brush finishes), anodized aluminum (shiny and matte), and matte plastic substrates (PMMA, Polystyrol, PVC).
