The M212 Coex 2mil Clear Surface Protection Film is a high-tack protective film formulated with enhanced abrasion resistance. This protective masking tape features a self-wound co-extruded polyethylene backing, making it well-suited for textured metal and plastic surfaces. With aggressive adhesion capabilities useful for most textured surfaces, it is ideal for masking and protecting stainless steel with a #3 or #4 finish. The film has excellent performance on matte painted metals and matte high-pressure laminates, while also delivering adequate performance on nameplate substrates such as textured PET and polycarbonate.
